Refer-A-Friend Guidelines:

New members referred to Pioneer Valley Credit Union by an existing member will receive $25 deposited into their new primary share account* After opening a primary share account at PVCU. The $25 bonus may be reported on form 1099-INT.

Referring members will receive $25 deposited into existing primary share account after referred member has met program requirements**. The referring member payment may be reported on form 1099-MISC.

Acceptance of the $25 deposit assume that the recipient has read and understood these requirements** and accepts the deposit as offered and releases PVCU from and all liability of any kind arising out of the recipient’s participation in the Promotion and receipt and use of the deposit.

* A Pioneer Valley Credit Union Share Account is a savings account that establishes membership with privileges. .025% APY (Annual Percentage Yield) as of 2/20/2024 with minimum opening balance of $25; minimum balance to earn the stated APY is $25.

** You must refer a new member to Pioneer Valley Credit Union. A new member is defined as someone who does not have an existing primary relationship with Pioneer Valley Credit Union at the time the new membership is established. Referrer and Friend cannot begin membership on the same business day. Referred members must be at least 18 years old. You must be a member in good standing and must have not previously caused a loss to PVCU. The referred member’s prime savings must remain open and in good standing for 90 days after opening. The bonus will be posted between the 91st and 135th day as a member. Accounts that do not meet this standard will forfeit their ability to earn $25 bonus. Fees may reduce earnings.
